Overview
We pick you up from your accommodation and head toward the Gramvousa peninsula for one of the most iconic coastal drives in Crete. The route includes a scenic coastal dirt road with impressive views over the Aegean Sea, leading to a small parking area. From there, an easy walk brings you to the famous Balos viewpoint — the moment where the lagoon reveals itself in full color.
If you’d like, you can continue with an optional hike down to the lagoon for swimming and exploring. If you prefer to stay at the viewpoint, we can keep the experience focused on panoramas, photos, and relaxed timing — and add optional stops on the way back depending on the day and your pace.
